We may make plans to accomplish,
see and or do certain things, the truth is, in making preparation (setting
goals/creating plans of actions), we still
won’t know all the details of the HOW. It’s said in scripture that “A man’s heart plans
his way, But the Lord directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9, NKJV)
This passage, if looked into a
little deeper, implies that we must have a certain level of faith, in that what
we’ve planned in our hearts to do, we must
trust the Lord’s direction in “Getting it Done.” Here lies the key…
Given that the things you have
purposed in your heart to do, align with God’s ultimate plan and design for
your life, YOU CAN BE ASSURED that your path will be directed accordingly so
that you fulfill your destiny AND in the most efficient way possible.
Very often, we are influenced by
things that are seen in the visible realm.
And we also allow this visible knowing to dictate our choices and
decisions more times than not. But those
things that are not seen by the naked eye constantly pose a challenge for many
of us.
Why is this so? Is it because it’s not tangible? Or, do we think we know how it should go? Or better yet, do we not
believe that “all things work together for the good?” My guess is, maybe it’s a
combination of all the above…
We can’t always “put our finger on
it” and yes, even those things that don’t appear to make sense or have caused
us some heart ache and pain, regardless of if it was brought upon us by our own
actions or that of others. So, what does
this have to do with “Walking by Faith?”
Simply believing in the things you
plan to “accomplish, see and or do” won’t cut it, you have to show your faith
by your works and work with what’s in your hands… Keep in mind, this life that we live “is” a
journey, and an adventure of sorts, therefore we must continuously “Walk by Faith.”
