Today is LABOR DAY, a national holiday that honors the contributions of those
who have worked to make America, AMERICA.
This holiday has been observed for hundreds of years, yet many of us
take it as just another day to rest, eat,
drink and be merry...
Times have changed and the “social
and economic” state of this country has encountered many challenges where the “American
Workforce” is concerned. And we’ve also seen record numbers of
unemployment on ALL LEVELS, be it local, state or federal…
What are we to do? It’s apparent that we’re in a
RECESSION… I suggest one change his or her perspective
and view it as “SELF-RESTRUCTURING” and begin the process of “REPOSITIONING
OURSELVES,” because “CHANGE IS HERE!!”
Labor Day Aye, Gotta Question
for You…
WHAT are YOU “Laboring” FOR?
As we all take a break from the work that we do, whatever it may be, ask
yourself, WHAT am I Laboring FOR? In The
Name of WHO? And, What Does this DAY
Really Mean to Me? This present
economy, should nudge each of us to examine and contemplate what we really desire to do, especially if we’re not doing it…
Regardless of what your current “social
or economic” position is, I believe that these times are calling for each us to
explore the true “Essence of Our Existence” and be about the business of LABORING
for THAT PURPOSE… For in finding YOUR PURPOSE, YOU begin the process of fulfilling
YOUR DESTINY, thus assisting in the Forward Movement of HUMANITY! Don't make this just another day... Happy Labor Day!!!
